How it works in 4 simple steps

Download the Renta by Trocah app (iOS or Android) and create your account
Sign up & verify - upload two ID documents (ID + Rental Agreement) and confirm you're named on the tenancy.
Connect your bank securely via Open Banking and confirm your rent details (amount, payee, due date).
We verify & report by detecting recurring rent payments, verify them against what you declared, then report verified payments to Experian's Rental Exchange.

Once you reach the reporting threshold of 6 consistent payments your rent history will begin to appear on your Experian credit file.

What you will Need

To be named on the tenancy agreement.
To pay your share directly to the landlord/agent from your own bank account
One valid government-issued ID and your current Rental Agreement
A UK bank account you can connect via Open Banking.

HMO / shared housing: each tenant must sign up individually and pay their share directly to the landlord/agent. If you pay a lead tenant who then pays the landlord, we cannot report those payments
